Flux Weighing Machine

The Flux Weighing Machine has been developed for the fast-accurate measurement of flux and other powder-based chemicals for precision applications. In a typical laboratory environment, the introduction of the XrWeigh Carousel will reduce the time needed for manual weighing by up to 75%.
The small amount of flux in the distribution system will automatically be removed. This keeps moisture effectively away from the flux as well. The instrument is also simple to use with an easy-to-follow user interface, requiring little or no training. A range of weights and tolerances are configurable and can be optimized for the combination of speed and accuracy for each method.

Crusher

Our range consists of dual action fine crushers, designed by experts with decades of experience in sample preparation. The efficiency of the dual action jaws allows for samples to be reduced by up to 55 times their original size. With large mining customers in mind, our flagship OM100 was designed to take drill core samples down to 2 mm in a single pass. Most jaw crushers are designed so that a single moving plate crushes samples against a fixed plate. Our dual moving plates dramatically increase crushing efficiency and yields. Our crushers were designed to withstand harsh mining conditions, processing high numbers of samples around the clock. Maintenance is quick and easy by design, to ensure maximum uptime for laboratories of all sizes. Ergonomics can be improved through the addition of a sample lifting accessory.

Thermal Analysis

Built with industrial users and large-scale scientific facilities inmind, the XRF Scientific automated macro thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA) is a high-throughput solution for a wide range of thermal analysis applications. Our TGA system is based on 30 years’ experience developing precise heating and weighing solutions for applications across the full spectrum of science and industry.
Thermogravimetry sets the standard for thermal decomposition testing for parameters as varied as moisture, volatiles, ash, fixed carbon, and Loss on Ignition (LOI) content. Our TGA analyzer leverages proprietary heating and weighing systems to continuously monitor sample mass changes over time as a function of temperature. User-defined thermal programs can be easily established using an intuitive touchscreen interface, enabling customers to establish different thermogravimetric profiles depending on their materials/phenomena of interest.
Our brand-new TGA adds value to high-throughput workflows with an increased sample capacity and greater temperature capabilities without a significant uptick in cost.
